What we collect, where your data lives, and what never happens to it.
Your notes, flashcards, sessions, and exams are stored in your browser's IndexedDB, on your own device. Studying never sends your library to Ruvren servers, and nothing syncs to the cloud unless you export a backup and move it yourself.
Ruvren does not sell, rent, or profile your study data, and there are no third-party advertising trackers in the app. The only server-side measurement is an anonymous page-view count: the path you visited is hashed with your IP and browser for one day, used only to know which pages get traffic, and never tied to what you study.
Signing in with Google is optional. When you sign in, we receive your name, email, and avatar so Pro status and device features can find your account. That is the only identity data collected.
Device-to-device sync moves data directly between your own devices over your local network or a QR code. It does not route your library through the internet.
From Settings you can export everything, import it back, or erase it. Deleting your browser storage removes the library for good, so export a backup before you clear anything.
